Insplorion is a Gothenburg-based company, listed on Nasdaq First North. Insplorion's underlying technology was developed over a decade of research at the Department of Chemical Physics at Chalmers University of Technology. The research, led by Professor Bengt Kasemo, resulted in a patent application in 2009 and a project within Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship, after which Insplorion was founded in 2010. Since then, the company has developed its technology with a focus on commercial applications.

Insplorion’s team has a very high level of technical skill, and we have renowned researchers, both among owners and in the board. We have partnerships with industrial companies and research groups at Chalmers University of Technology and Uppsala University and we have many internationally renowned researchers as customers. Because of this, we find ourselves at the absolute technological forefront, both regarding sensors intended for volume production in applications such as battery control and air quality measurement and regarding sensors in advanced research instruments used for cutting-edge research by scientists worldwide.

Insplorion's patented technology is called NanoPlasmonic Sensing (NPS). The measurement principle is based on an optical phenomenon that occurs in conductive nanoparticles. If you need a small, robust sensor with high accuracy, do not hesitate Contact Us.

Insplorion is a public company since 25 June 2015 when the stock was introduced at Spotlight Stock Market (previously AktieTorget). Insplorion is affiliated with Euroclear Sweden AB, which means that Euroclear holds the company's share register.
