Explore the possibilities with Insplorion NPS H2 sensor technology
NanoPlasmonic Sensing (NPS) is a new technology for H2 sensing, combining optical read-out with metal hydride detection. This technology is commercialized by Insplorion AB to facilitate unique detection/analysis possibilities.
The Insplorion NPS-P1 device is the most convenient system to get started as soon as possible exploring how NPS can benefit your application. The device includes the access to the Insplorion GPB Util software for real-time reading.

Vinnova project with Saab
The purpose of the project is to demonstrate the possibility for leak detection in hydrogen-powered aircraft. Within the project, Insplorion’s hydrogen sensors and readout with fiber optics will be adapted to be combined with Saab’s existing readout unit. The budget for the project is 3.7 MSEK where Insplorion receives a total grant of 1.7 MSEK. The project is expected to start autumn 2024 and last for about 18 months.

TechForH2
TechForH2 is a competence center for multidisciplinary hydrogen research with the overall aim of developing new technology in hydrogen propulsion for heavier vehicles as an important step in the transition to a fossil-free transport system. The center is financed with nearly SEK 54 million by the Swedish Energy Agency and has a total budget of SEK 161 million over the five year project.
