Students at Insplorion: Hydrogen

April 8, 2020

As a diploma worker at Insplorion you really get hands on experience of working in an R&D environment. My project is focused on the development of a nanoplasmonic hydrogen sensing device. Doing this involves a lot of experimental work and data analysis, but I also get to do Matlab simulations as a part of my thesis. With a background in chemical engineering and engineering physics, I really appreciate the diversity of work tasks and the mix of theory and experiments involved. Especially rewarding is the chance to do something that actually matters, hydrogen safety sensors will be of high importance in a future featuring fuel cell vehicles, and I get to be a part of that ride!
